Altruify app for iPhone and iPad

Altruify is the only software platform which allows users to generate charitable donations based upon their use of their favorite technologies. With Altruify, users assign a monetary value to their normal interactions with their favourite technologies. 

User activities including sending emails or text messages, taking pictures on a mobile device, interactions on social media, physically taking foot steps tracked through fitness apps including Apple HealthKit and Google Fit, watching streaming media, all the way down to individual keystrokes and mouse clicks, can all be used to generate charitable donations through Altruify. Altruify users assign a monetary value to each of their technology interactions to generate charitable donations resulting from the user’s interactions with technology.

After choosing which technology interactions Altruify users want to generate donations from and assigning a donation value to their chosen technology interactions, users then simply use their chosen technologies to start generating charitable donations based upon their interactions with their chosen technologies. At regular donation intervals, Altruify will debit the users funding account in the amount corresponding to the user’s interactions with their chosen technologies and the monetary donation values the user assigned to each one of their technology interactions. Donated funds are then transferred to the charities that the user has chosen to receive their donations through the Altruify platform.

Altruify is a 501(c)(3) which has partnered with other reputable 501(c)(3) organizations who receive funds donated through Altruify. Users can choose which charities or charitable cause themes their donated funds go toward. On Altruify’s web and mobile apps, users are able to track their donations over time, manage and limit their donation amounts, change which charities receive their donations and research new charities to donate to.
